Dr. Ashley Wagner provides insight into the important, but sometimes overlooked, role  that occupational therapists play in creating trauma- sensitive schools. Listeners will  hear a discussion of the crucial information that should be brought to light during an  IEP meeting for any child with developmental trauma. In addition, Dr. Wagner  describes how OTs can be great support for teachers in a trauma-sensitive  school. Specific strategies are provided.
