Plenary Session: Trauma-Informed Care in Juvenile Justice: Challenges and Opportunities
Plenary Speaker: Keith Cruise, PhD
Center for Trauma Recovery and Juvenile Justice
The Youth Justice track includes workshops for both those working in Juvenile Justice and those working in Child Welfare, because we know often the children we are served are impacted by both systems. In addition to the Plenary session and 6 workshops, there will be networking sessions, coffee chats with speakers and other 30-minute breakout offerings. CEs and college credit are available. Plus attendees will have 30 days to watch recordings of any sessions they missed, including professionals in the other tracks as well: Parenting/Caregiving, Education, Communities and Counselors/Therapists.
