Kirsten Murdoch Resource Coordinator

Kirsten Murdoch

Kirsten is a mother to 4 kids (2 adopted and 2 bio). Kirsten started her career over 20 years ago working for nonprofits and providing support to individuals with special needs. She oversaw a variety of programs and learned that in the nonprofit world you wear many hats. This prepared her better for motherhood! She then worked as a Support Coordinator assisting individuals with disabilities and their families to develop plans to find the most appropriate services. Kirsten and her husband adopted their first child and their daughter’s special needs started them down a pretty amazing journey. A few years later they adopted their son, and this adventure taught them about significant medical disabilities coupled with early childhood trauma. Kirsten knows first-hand how critical support and especially finding the right resources are to families in crisis.

Kirsten now works as the Resource Coordinator at ATN. She is happy to have found a place that understands how trauma can affect all aspects of life.
