The Attachment & Trauma Network, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so all donations to ATN are tax-deductible. ATN operates entirely on the generosity of our donors and members. In addition to our specific programs, operating funds are needed to maintain our website, online classroom and virtual office. Donations can be made through this website or by phone or mail.
Think about donating in the following ways:
- Tribute Donations. Do you have a friend or family member who is parenting a traumatized child? Has someone served as a mentor or respite provider for your family and made a significant impact on your lives? Donating to ATN in their honor is a great way to recognize their hard work and dedication to helping a child heal. Contact Lorraine@attachtrauma.org for details.
- Contributing to ATN’s scholarship fund. Every year ATN is contacted by parents who are unable to afford the membership dues, but who desperately need the support and education that ATN offers. So we have established a Scholarship Fund that allows members and donors to contribute toward the $35 annual dues of another member. You can contribute to this fund by contacting Lorraine Schneider, our Administrative Director at 240-357-7369 or
Lorraine@attachrauma.org.
- Donating to ATN through United Way. You may be able to designate ATN as the recipient of your United Way donations through your place of employment. ATN is not listed on the list of charities that is distributed by United Way, but if your employer allows you to designate charities, you can designate ATN by putting our Federal Tax ID on the form. Contact Julie Beem (julieb@attachtrauma.org
) or Lorraine Schneider (
Lorraine@attachrauma.org) for more information.
- Organizing a Fundraiser. Some ATN members have resourcefully organized their own fundraisers, such as setting up lemonade stands or bake sales. Or have asked that friends and family members send donations to ATN in honor of their birthdays or other special events. If you are planning such an event, let us know, and ATN can provide materials.
